Sales By Customer Report

Revenue per customer over a period, opening up to each vehicle and then each invoice, with labor and parts margin at every level.

Overview

The Sales By Customer Report shows which customers and assets drove your revenue. It covers a period you choose and shows labor and parts margin at every level. You will find it in the Sales section of the Reports tab.

Drilling in

The report is built as a drill down: Customer, then Asset, then Invoice.

  1. Expand a customer to see each of their vehicles.

  2. Expand a vehicle to see each invoice.

  3. Rows link through to the related service or parts orders when the location matches, so you can go from a number straight to the work behind it.

Parts and services are broken out separately. Parts lines are marked with a shopping cart icon.

Labor delta

The labor delta column shows how invoiced labor compares to the hours actually worked, so you can spot jobs billed ahead of or behind the clock at the customer level.

Filters

  1. Date range.

  2. Service sales, parts sales, or both.

  3. Customers: pick one, several, or all.

  4. Locations: if you have access to multiple locations, you can include several at once.

Columns and exports

The Column Selector lets you show or hide columns without affecting other users, and your choices are saved for you. Export to PDF or CSV, as a Summary (collapsed) view or an Expanded (uncollapsed) view. Exports respect only the filters applied on screen and record them in the file.

Good to know

  1. Anyone who can open Reports can open this report.
